I spotted this sculpture in the poolside courtyard of a hotel where I roomed on a recent trip. The clerk at the desk knew nothing about it, or its significance.
Since it was directly outside of my window — I took it as a sign that my quest for “big things” is righteous indeed! : )

I live in Central Texas and Hico is a favorite ride and crossroad for us.
I did not see the spur in Hico, but I have spotted this one in the small town of Cherokee on Hwy 16.
