Several shortline railroads offer the opportunity each year to ride a train pulled by Thomas and to participate in other Thomas-related activities. The Thomas pictured was making an appearance in Indiana. Little kids must go crazy for this!

Another of Dr. Ken Fox’s statues (an Auburn dentist and sculptor now in his 80’s).
Fox sculpted it as a tribute to Chinese workers who labored so harshly on the Transcontinental Railroad in the 1800’s.
