Frog murals abound in the town of Rayne, the self-proclaimed “Frog Capitol of the World.” The city earned its reputation by breeding and selling frogs to french restaurants all across the United States.

The Golden Driller

Barb sends this great photo of Tulsa’s giant roustabout. Local folks call him ”The Golden Boy”. The Golden Driller stands 76 feet tall!
He was commissioned for the 1966 Petrolieum Exposition at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
