Albert The BullJanetgia says:
Albert the Bull is about 30 feet tall and weighs 45 tons. He was erected in Audubon, Iowa between 1963-64 in recognition of contributions to local Iowa economies made by the beef/cattle industry. He sits in the City Park at the south end of Audubon, in west central Iowa just off the Western Skies Scenic Byway.
My husband Steve and I, and our friends Garry and Shirley, took a ride over to snap photos with Albert on July 22, 2006. It was about a 70 mile ride one-way, but the day was beautiful so we managed to turn it into a 180-mile ride that included some of the prettiest roads in Iowa and a little Interstate thrown in for good measure!
