Bill brings us some shots of the “Billy The Kid Homesite” in Silver City, New Mexico! It replicates the cabin that Billy lived in with his mother prior to her death, and for several years thereafter.

The cabin was used as a shooting location for the 2003 film, The Missing.

   Thanks for the great photo of the cabin. My husband is one of the guys who helped re-build it here with Ron Howard’s crew. He continues to perform maintenance on it. It is filled with a lot of wonderful era-appropriate items. The C of C has it open for touring on occasion.
