Barb’s amazing list of roadside wonders continues to grow. Here, she brings us the giant Praying Hands sculpture at the entrance to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to the ORU website: The 60-foot-tall Praying Hands grace the university’s main entrance, welcoming visitors to the ORU campus. Now recognizable around the world as a symbol of ORU, this 30-ton bronze sculpture was cast in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, in 1980.

The Avenue of Flags is lined with flags from the more than 50 nations that have sent students to ORU and encircles the Praying Hands.
