Kelso Depot
Mojave National Preserve, California

Boo says:
Kelso Depot once served as a major stopping point on the Union Pacific line between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Here, steam engines were watered and serviced, while passengers disembarked & dined at the lunch counter inside.

The depot, for years practically abandoned in a ghost town, has been beautifully restored and now serves as the Mojave Preserve’s Headquarters.
