Martin’s Potato Chip Kettle

Martin’s Potato Chip Kettle
5847 Lincoln Highway West
(Route 30)
Thomasville, Pennsylvania

This is the big Martin’s Potato Chip kettle located at the factory entrance in Thomasville (just west of York, Pennsylvania). It’s a roadside wonder that’s easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention!

Martin’s is the purveyor of kettle-cook’d (yes, that’s cook’d – not cooked) potato chips. Ah, the loopiness of trademarks, and branding, and general marketing silliness 🙂  I believe their chips (and other snacks) are only available in stores in the south central PA region; but they do have an online store.

I’m a confessed potato chip-oholic and I give the B-B-Q Waffle Chips a big thumbs-up!

Martin’s offers factory tours – but only on Tuesdays and you must call ahead to schedule. I haven’t taken to the tour. so if you have … please feel free to comment below and give me your verdict!
