I took a run over to the AACA Museum in Hershey a few days ago (mostly to make sure that the Hershey’s Kissmmobile was still in giftable shape in the event that Santa was buying it for me for Christmas).

It is. He didn’t.

On this visit, I took in a bunch of new “wonders” … including Sammy the Snow Plow!

from the display placard:
Wiliam Walter was a Swiss/French immigrant who emigrated to New York City in 1883. He loved to tinker with machines, and became a very innovative man. Knowing that the United States was expanding fast, he decided to go into the truck building busines in 1909. His company built various models of trucks for several occasions. Mostly trucks for WWI and WWII in the early years, and then snow plows and trucks for airport use. These two proved to be the most popular sellers. Walter’s company was purchased in 1997 by the Kivatch Mobile Equipment Company.
This Walter ACUS is equipped with a “Jumbo” 15 ft. snow plow and extension wings – adding roughly 8 more feet per side.

Take a look at the front of the museum (to the right). The Kissmobile is photobombing poor Sammy!
