I am finally catching-up with some of my older “wonders”. I nabbed this mural during my 2010 Columbus Day ride.

Route 30 has some great murals and this one features local pride for the Lincoln Highway, area fruit growers, and Nellie Fox (a Baseball Hall of Famer and St. Thomas native). The mural wraps around a metal barn at Bingham’s Orchards.

I love the saying on the eastern side of the building: “Wind In Your Hair … Feeling Alive. A Great Institution The Sunday Drive”. While I believe the artist was referring to the pictured convertible; I had no problem applying it to motorcycling

     I think it is too … plus, I imagine that corrugated metal is pretty challenging for painting murals!
