Yay! One of my favorite Roadside “Wonder-Ers”, Bill, brings us the Waffle House Museum (in the original Waffle House restaurant- Unit #1) in Decatur, Georgia.
The very first Waffle House was opened in 1955 by Tom Forkner and Joe Rogers. This location, the chain’s very first unit, has been restored to its original design and now serves as a museum with memorabilia of the restaurant’s 56 years in business.
