Columbia Market House
15 South Third Street
Columbia, Pennsylvania
(now closed)

South Central Pennsylvania certainly doesn’t have a shortage of produce markets. Many of them are larger than The Columbia Market House. Few are as interesting … and to my knowledge not one of them as a dungeon. The Columbia Market House does! (read my post about The Dungeon here)

The market looks a little bare in the image below because I visited
at the end of the day.
Aren’t the stalls and dividers cool?

I’m not even going to pretend that this was intentional; but I love the way the flag and the market’s interior are reflected in the glass of these framed pictures

The market even has cool “neighbors”. The first is the Columbia Municipal Building and the second is a building that I just adore.

    1. I have a free ticket (from the “Free Day at the Museum” program by the Smithsonian) this Saturday. I’m either using it for the Clock & Watch Museum or the HBG Civil War Museum.

I’ve never been to the Clock & Watch — so that’s probably where I’m headed 🙂
