I have an enduring affection for unique post offices and the Garards Fort Post Office has been on my “to do” list for quite some time. Unfortunately, in the past year or so, I haven’t been able to travel as often as I used to .

At 165 square feet, Garards Fort is the smallest standalone post office still in operation in Pennsylvania. Operating hours are slim – just 10 am – 12 noon Monday through Friday. I hope it survives for years to come!
