“Getting The Job Done” Vehicle Exhibition
Getting the Job Done Exhibition
through April 23, 2018
AACA Museum
161 Museum Drive
Hershey, Pennsylvania
The Getting the Job Done – Vehicles That Earned Their Keep exhibit focuses on some creative, practical, and fabulous vehicles designed for business pursuits. Below are some of my favorites.
1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero
(on loan from The Old Sled Works which is, incidentally, one of my favorite places to visit too!)
1947 GMC Box Truck
(This has an interesting story … including ephemera. I love the vintage artwork!)
1919 Walker Electric Truck
(A battery-powered delivery truck with a 50 mile range …in 1919 … yep!)
1967 Ford F250 Good Humor Ice Cream Truck
(I miss ice cream trucks! This model operated in the Chicago area)
These vehicles are wonderful. You can see the hard work and pride that went into keeping them pristine and available for display. I think the Box Truck is my favorite, and that’s not just because I want to take a peek into the glove box.
