Jo captured these way-cool bird, bat, and butterfly houses at the Kingsbrae Horticultural Garden in St. Andrews, New Brunswick!
I love this one … made from skateboards!
Kingsbrae Garden launched the B-B-Birdfest Competition in July of 2010. Entrants created various creative bird, bat, and butterfly houses. The houses were displayed along the garden’s Memory Lane though early August. In October, many of the entries were auctioned off at a fundraising dinner that benefited the Volunteer Centre and Food Bank of Charlotte County.

Though the B-B-Birdfest is over, Kingsbrae offers many other events and programs each year. The grounds are open daily from late May through early October (9 am – 6 pm). Visit Kingsbrae Garden online for more details.
