The Kissmobile hasn’t been touring lately — and the only time that I have actually spotted it in the wild was when I passed it going the other direction on RT 322 quite awhile ago.
When I visited the Antique Auto Museum in Hershey this afternoon, I had no idea that I would find the Kissmobile parked out front. This was a moment of truth for your RoadsideWonders Hostess. I have never come so close to committing a felony in my life.
Yes, Friends …. I had to talk myself out of Grand Theft Kissmobile. The keys were actually in it! However, “State Penitentiary orange” is just not my color and, alas, I think it would have ultimately gone down Thelma & Louise-Style. Only it would have ended in the Susquehanna River instead of the Grand Canyon 🙂

Wow, I didn’t even know there was a Kissmobile, I’ve got to check that out! Reminds me of the time I saw the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile and it was like seeing someone famous.
I never seem to catch up with the Weinermobile …. and there are several of them; so you’d think it wouldn’t be too hard!
Wow, cool, I never knew there was such a thing as the Kissmobile either, and I bet it’s loaded with Kisses, too! I wonder why it’s not touring anymore…the same old bad economy reason for everything going downhill?
One of the guys outside of the museum said that the “middle kiss” is audio/video equipment and the third kiss is a giant freezer for samples! Yum!!!
It looks as if they haven’t toured since ’07 (I think that there is more than one Kissmobile — but I’m not positive). It may, indeed, have been a victim of the economy.

Passed the kiss mobile 6/4/13 on I-81 south mile marker 107. Now I have seen it in motion as well as the wiener mobile which I have seen several times.
I have to admit that I get irrationally excited when I see them on the road 🙂
